The Role:
As a Business Analyst you will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements optimizing processes and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions.
You will work closely with stakeholders product managers engineers and testers to align business goals with technical solutions.
This position requires strong analytical skills excellent communication and a deep understanding of software development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit document and validate business requirements ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Analysis and Documentation: Analyze business processes identify areas for improvement and document requirements using use cases functional requirements acceptance criteria workflows and wireframes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers engineers and testers to refine requirements and ensure a shared understanding of business needs.
- Solution Design: Assist in designing software solutions that align with business goals ensuring feasibility and scalability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring continuous and effective communication.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in the development and of user test plans to validate that solutions meet business needs.
- Project Support: Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle including change management risk assessment and issue resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and insights for the ongoing enhancement of products services and business analysis processes.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product development and strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst Product Owner or similar role in a software engineering or technology environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques including requirement gathering process modeling and data analysis.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools such as Aha! JIRA Confluence or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A shift left mindset emphasizing that quality is built into software from the requirement stage.
- Business Analysis (CBAP CCBA) or Product Owner (CSPO) certifications are a plus but not required.
