Job Description
- Inspect commercial and residential buildings and the surrounding property to identify the type and source of infestation.
- Develop treatment plans and prevention methods to remove pest problems for clients and reduce the risk of re-infestation
- Direct and assist co-workers during the extermination process to remove or eliminate insects, rodents or weeds.
- Studies insect distribution and habitat and recommends methods to prevent importation and spread of injurious species.
- Studies behavior, nutrition, reproduction, disease transmission, or pest management issues related to their specific species of interest.
- Performs field tests and site evaluation to identify insect's environmental impact and repercussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, M.S. or PhD in entomology or a related field in the biological sciences.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of English.
- Observation skills.
- Communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills
