Job Description
Our client an African Conglomerate company is seeking to hire a Chief Financial Officer.
Job summary:
The Chief Financial Officer is to lead the financial future of the company at the intersection of innovation industry and nationbuilding. The ideal candidate is a highcapacity leader with strong fundraising structuring and capital deployment experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a longterm financial strategy aligned with the companys growth ambitions.
- Lead capital raises (debt equity and blended finance) investor relations and funding strategy.
- Build and oversee financial systems reporting and governance structures Groupwide.
- Design holding structures that optimize for efficiency investor readiness and compliance.
- Drive financial performance through dashboards realtime analytics and vertical integration.
- Support expansion into new African and global markets through fiscally sound planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
Requirements
- 10 15 years in senior finance roles preferably in multinational impactdriven or highgrowth environments.
- Proven experience raising and managing largescale capital.
- Comfortable leading across multiple sectors (media infrastructure education or development sectors preferred).
- Strong understanding of African business dynamics and global financial ecosystems.
- Highly strategic executionfocused and valuesdriven.
