The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering business and IT projects that drive operational improvements and enhance reporting capabilities. This role will focus on project business process analysis and ensuring seamless adoption of new technology solutions. Working closely with key stakeholders the Project Manager will translate business needs into practical solutions manage reporting requirements and oversee process improvements that align with the organisations strategic goals.
Key Performance Outputs
- Plan and execute business and IT projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and aligned with company objectives.
- Track project progress manage timelines and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
- Gather analyse and document business requirements ensuring clear alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement process improvements.
- Facilitate workshops to resolve issues and refine project scope business processes and reporting needs.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement ensuring effective communication of project deliverables and risks.
- Coordinate resource planning including internal teams and external consultants.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
- Assist with user acceptance testing training and change management to support project adoption.
- Support business intelligence and reporting initiatives by defining key metrics and ensuring data accuracy.
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems recommending enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Lead crossfunctional teams ensuring collaboration and alignment with business goals.
Requirements
Qualifications / Education
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management Information Systems or Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2.
- 35 years of experience in a project management or business analysis role.
- Experience in ERP implementations business intelligence/reporting projects or operational process improvements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) with experience in data reporting and visualization tools being a plus.
Functional / Technical
- Strong business analysis skills including gathering documenting and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
- Experience in managing both IT and business process improvement projects.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with the capacity to drive process optimization.
- Ability to create clear and effective reports dashboards and insights for business decisionmaking.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira Asana or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of business intelligence reporting and data management principles.
