With a strong designled ethos and a growing development pipeline our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Planner to join their inhouse team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that places placemaking and community integration at the heart of its operations.
As a Planner you will play a pivotal role in managing the planning workload contributing to both strategic land promotion and planning application processes. Working closely with internal colleagues and external consultants your input will shape the successful delivery of diverse residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the identification and promotion of strategic sites.
Monitor emerging planning policies and provide expert advice on planning risks and opportunities.
Prepare submit and manage planning applications through to determination.
Engage with planning officers stakeholders local communities and landowners.
Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams across various projects.
Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure deliverability and quality of proposals.
Conduct site appraisals and prepare planning strategies for potential land acquisitions.
We are looking for someone with solid planning experience a passion for delivering quality places and strong communication skills.
You ll need to have:
A relevant planning degree and ideally MRTPI chartership.
Experience in planning within a housebuilder consultancy or local authority.
A thorough understanding of both development management and strategic planning policy.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A drive to shape highquality liveable environments.
