The Role: Senior Systems Engineer POD Lead

As a Senior Systems Engineer POD Lead you will play a strategic leadership role in delivering exceptional IT services while fostering client success. Leading a team of IT professionals you will drive productivity oversee highprofile client projects and ensure seamless service delivery. Your role will be clientcentric requiring a balance of technical expertise strategic planning and leadership to support and enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients building and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned customers ensuring documentation and services remain up to date.

  • Understand client business needs to ensure the delivery of tailored IT solutions.

  • Work closely with account managers to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Maintain high standards of communication and transparency in client interactions.

Strategic Planning &

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with business growth and client objectives.

  • Collaborate with account managers to develop 12month roadmaps for clients.

  • Stay informed on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices.

  • Participate in customer meetings to track progress and refine strategies.

Technical Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Oversee highprofile client projects ensuring seamless across multiple teams.

  • Ensure accurate system documentation and compliance with best practices.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.

  • Participate in internal planning sessions to align teams and execute strategies effectively.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead mentor and develop a team of IT professionals within the POD.

  • Foster a culture of innovation knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.

  • Conduct regular team checkins and individual meetings to support professional growth.


Requirements

Key Requirements:

MustHaves:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT services with leadership responsibilities.

  • Strong experience managing client relationships strategic planning and project .

  • Proficiency with service desk management platforms such as ConnectWise and BrightGauge.

  • Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure including servers telephony and hypervisors.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Highly Preferred:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
