The Manager Operations Oncology Services reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
In addition the manager facilitates achievement of Oncologys goals through coordinating program development efforts in clinical care research and education. Responsible for coordinating all business services including staff modeling program budget development quality reporting and analysis and financial preparation and analysis as warranted. This position is instrumental in providing key data for support of the Oncology service and assisting with the development of strategies to successfully compete for market penetration.
Collaborates with leadership to advance quality strategies ensure a professional work environment facilitate timeliness of services and enhance patient satisfaction. The Manager is responsible for fiscal human resource and quality outcomes for their defined service area or unit. The Manager places the needs of the patient and other customers as a first priority and demonstrates the skills necessary to meet and exceed expectations. The Manager focuses others on a clearly defined clearly communicated vision and engages individuals and groups to achieve that vision. - Partners with the clinical and nonclinical support services departments to ensure optimal patient throughput
- Supports care coordination and response to operational issues
- Ensures sustained Control phase of DMAIC for all process improvement initiatives

- Performs assessments and evaluations to determine approach to implementation of new processes protocols and procedures

- Establishes implements and monitors the unit or service areas capital and operating budget to achieve defined targets.
- Creates annual operating budget and is accountable for monthly financial performance
- Creates and implements capital request replacements and departmental projects
- Partners with the leadership to advance improvement initiatives and opportunities
- Advocates the use of effective and proven project management quality process improvement methodologies and budget management techniques to support defined project objectives ontime and onbudget
- Coordinates the development and of the operational/system implementation and communication plans for various projects.

Qualifications :
Required
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Clinical healthcare experience and/or experience in related field with substantial healthcare knowledge.
- 35 years of work experience in healthcare.
- The individual shall be qualified by training; experience interest demonstrated current ability and shall be willing and able to discharge the duties of his/her office.
- The individual shall possess interpersonal and timemanagement skills organizational skills and a working knowledge of trends in Oncology disease.
Preferred
- Masters Degree in science related field or Business/Health Administration.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- At least 46 years in a hospital business management environment.
- Working knowledge of adult Oncology and research populations.
