Cenco Roofing is seeking a sales development representative (SDR) to play a key role in the companys growth by setting qualified appointments for the sales team. This position ensures that prospective clients are properly engaged and prepared for a consultation maximizing the effectiveness of the sales process.
This role offers a structured sales system ongoing training and clear performance metrics that allow for strong earning potential.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
B2B Outreach
- Conduct outreach to potential business partners such as general contractors and property managers to expand Cenco Roofings network of commercial partners
- Qualify leads for fit and potential ensuring alignment with Cenco Roofings services
- Book appointments with the sales team or company leadership
- Document outreach efforts in the CRM including logging opportunities and writing interaction notes
B2C Outreach
- Reach out to inbound leads generated through the companys marketing channels to book highly qualified sales appointments
- Call previous prospects to reengage and book new appointments for roofing projects
- Obtain referrals from prospects and former clients to ensure a steady flow of potential customers
- Ensure that all decisionmakers are present for scheduled sales consultations
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities in the CRM
Administrative Tasks
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate stakeholder
- Log activities that feed into sales reports
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge
- Book and follow up on appointments ensuring confirmation of attendance
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and report on outreach activities and results
Although the responsibilities outlined above will form the core focus of your role please note that your hiring manager may assign additional relevant tasks as needed to align with the evolving objectives of your position and the overall goals of our business.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong verbal communication in both languages
- Proven sales experience with a focus on outbound calling and lead generation
- Experience handling high call volumes 100150 dials per day)
- A background in appointment setting call center sales or telemarketing
- Strong objectionhandling skills and the ability to adapt to customer responses
- Ability to follow scripts while keeping conversations engaging
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have own webcam microphone and computer (relevant software and subscriptions provided)
- Excellent English verbal and written language proficiency (C1C2 on the CEFR scale)
- Access to a quiet work area at home with reliable internet 50 Mbps or more)
PREFERRED (NICETOHAVE) QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in the roofing home improvement or construction industry
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and other sales prospecting tools
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS
- Base Salary: Q7500 per month commissions.
- Role type: Fulltime.
- Location: Guatemala (Remote Work from home).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM MST.
RECRUITING PROCESS
- Application / Screening: When you apply for this position we will ask you a short questionnaire to get to know you a little bit better and ask you for some additional inputs to see if you qualify for the position. In addition we will ask you to complete a short psychometric evaluation and a short English proficiency assessment. The idea is to explore if this is a good fit before moving forward.
- Skills Assessment: You will be asked to complete a few exercises and/or projects designed to recreate the work tasks that you will be responsible for if you are given the role. This helps us gauge your skill level as well as give you a better idea of the required work.
- Skills Assessment Interview: This is a 60 min 90 min conversation where we further test your skills learn about your previous working experiences and evaluate culture fit to the role and company.
- Hiring Manager Final Interview: This is a 30 min 60 min conversation with the positions Hiring Manager (and potentially a few company team members) to get to know you better and to set the expectations and vision for the role.
The entire process usually takes anywhere between 24 weeks to complete depending on the seniority of the position.
