Job Description

This role will play a crucial role in facilitating the residential mortgage process ensuring a seamless experience for clients and internal stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for loan origination support credit analysis coordination document management regulatory compliance and client service. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in residential lending strong analytical skills and an understanding of the sophisticated financial needs of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

 

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

Loan Origination & :

  • Assist relationship managers with residential mortgage lending solutions for their clients.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients relationship managers loan officers operations and closing teams to ensure timely loan processing and funding.
  • Prepare and review loan applications and packages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements.

Client & Internal team coordination:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients assisting with documentation requests loan status updates general inquiries and servicing issues.
  • Coordinate with operations to facilitate underwriting and loan decisions.

Credit & Compliance Support:

  • Assist in loan structuring by gathering required financial statements and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies banking regulations and residential lending guidelines (e.g. TRID RESPA).
  • Monitor loan conditions covenants and ongoing portfolio performance to mitigate risk exposure.

Operational & Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and update loan tracking and referral systems ensuring accurate reporting of loan pipeline activity.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and risk management processes by maintaining meticulous records.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelors degree in finance real estate business administration or a related field preferred.
    • 710 years of experience in residential lending mortgage administration or private banking credit underwriting.
    • Strong knowledge of residential loan products underwriting guidelines and private banking mortgage structures.
    • Experience working with high networth individuals and understanding their unique financing needs.
    • Exceptional attention to detail analytical skills and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and under stringent deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
    • Proficiency in loan origination platforms banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
    • Ability to handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion.

     

     

    Compensation

    The expected annual base salary for this position is between $100000 $120000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis taking into consideration factors such as an individuals skills experience and book of business. In addition to base salary our total rewards package also includes eligibility for incentive compensation medical pharmacy dental and vision plans life and disability insurance employee wellness program retirement and savings plans with employer contributions generous holiday and paid time off schedules parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
