Senior Data Engineer (Matillion) St. Louis MO 10 Years
Main Skills Technologies and Methodologies: Data Analysis SQL Matillion ETL Data Warehousing Data Validation Data Reconciliation.
About the Role: This role focuses on ensuring data alignment between legacy ODI systems and modern Matillion data pipelines. You will be responsible for indepth data comparison identification of discrepancies and implementation of necessary modifications within Matillion to achieve accurate data output.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed data comparison between ODI and Matillion outputs.
Identify and analyze variations in data sets.
Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Modify and optimize Matillion ETL processes to ensure data alignment.
Document data discrepancies and resolution steps.
Collaborate with data engineering and development teams.
Implement and maintain data quality checks.
Essential Skills:
Expertlevel SQL proficiency (reading understanding and modifying complex queries).
Extensive experience with Matillion ETL.
Strong data analysis and problemsolving skills.
Proven ability to perform data validation and reconciliation.
Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
Experience with data quality management.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Knowledge of cloudbased data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
Understanding of data governance principles.
