The Architect in Customer Experience drives architectural initiatives for the Customer Experience Portfolio to deliver business outcomes. This architect is responsible for providing architectural clarity in support of business needs and systems operating environment. This architect provides guidance and is responsible for aligning the technical work of CXP Portfolio and enterprise strategic direction related to development and delivery of technology stacks interoperability APIs and deployment strategies. This architect will provide direction within ARTs as well as influence and knowledge sharing with the CXP Architect Enterprise Architect and across the enterprise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with the cross functional Enterprise architects to contribute to understand and support the strategic technical direction of the enterprise
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to provide a highlevel allinclusive vision of solutions and development initiatives
- Defining key technical initiatives that support Lean Budgets via Enabler Epics
- Helping in building value streams adhere to the budget guardrails for retiring solutions
- Leading the strategy for building and maintaining the architectural runway
- Understanding and communicating Strategic Themes and other key business drivers for architecture to technical and nontechnical stakeholders within tenant.
- Driving architectural initiatives in the ART and participating in epic analysis where applicable
- Influencing common modeling design and coding practices
- Promoting Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps capabilities
- Collecting generating and analyzing innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business
- Facilitating the reuse of code components and proven patterns
- Synchronizing the following disciplines across solutions whenever applicable: System and data security quality production infrastructure user experience (Lean UX) scalability performance and other Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs)
- Coach developers and identify training opportunities
- Prepare manage and coordinate breakdown of Portfolio Enablers into ART or Team Enablers
- Understand the Architecture of all systems and address conflicting or divergent approaches
- Create and implement strategies for technology adoption.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- 13 years of experience
- Personal and professional alignment with Expeditors culture and ten critical success factors
- Proven experience as a logistics and technologyoriented leader
- Strong leadership communication and capabilities
- Experienced problem solver strong collaborator and able to provide clarity around complex topics
- Experience with DevSecOps Lean Agile and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Assertive personality interpersonal action and outcome driven leadership
- Ability to actively inspire coach mentor and motivate
- Ability to promote autonomy mastery and purpose through empowerment and creating leaders
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS Computer Science MIS or related degree preferred
- Global logistics/Supply chain business knowledge (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Experience in a technical role such as systems/data/business analysis project management or software development 1 year minimum)
