You will support an Upwork Managed Services program that will manage the delivery of educational content during live virtual training sessions for a professional HR membership association. Training sessions will be delivered via Zoom in collaboration with an experienced virtual instructor.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the assigned moderator for a series of seminars which will be various durations of time (up to multiple weeks) and held at the same day/time each week.
- Being reactive in the chat and Q&A tabs in realtime.
- Alerting instructors to questions at natural breaks in the content.
- Remind participants how they can access their materials and program recordings.
- Oversee all other housekeeping and logistical aspects on behalf of the Client.
- Record each training session and ensure that closed captioning is enabled.
- Following each training session post links to the recording of the training session in the established Google Drive folder as soon as the link is available and no more than 12 hours after the seminar has ended.
- Respond in the chat in realtime to answer participant questions.
- Escalate specific questions from class participants to appropriate Client contacts in real time or within 12 hours.
- Provide customer service and basic technology support to participants in realtime.
- Work closely with instructors to deliver the highest quality training program and participant experience.
- Represent the Client in a professional manner during virtual training sessions.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 or more years customer service experience.
- Experience as a virtual training moderator.
- Excellent English communications skills both verbal and written.
- Responsive and strong sense of accountability with diligent followthrough.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve computer related challenges.
- Adept in working with computers and the internet.
- Extensive experience with Zoom
- Sense of urgency; timeliness
- Adept at conducting research
- Availability to work Monday Sunday in EST/EDT zones hours vary based on Client needs with peak times in the months of November and December. Training sessions could be scheduled anytime between 6:00 AM 12:00 AM in EST/EDT zones.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
System/Software Requirements:
- Must have latest version of Zoom and agrees to update Zoom upon release of new versions.
- Must have their own computer webcam and microphone with highquality audio.
- Must have highspeed password protected internet connection. Performing work over an open wireless network connection is NOT allowed.
- Must have backup fiber internet connection
