This is a remote position.
One of our clients is seeking a Business Analyst 2 to provide functional support for a newly developed Grants & Contract Management system. The successful candidate will also contribute to the maintenance and support of legacy systems working closely with end users to gather requirements perform testing and ensure system performance meets business needs.
This role involves a mix of requirements analysis testing documentation and user support with training provided on the new system. Candidates should have a strong foundation in business analysis and QA practices a proactive communication style and the ability to support system users and manage administrative data entries.
Analyze and evaluate user requests for new or modified functionality in the Grants & Contract Management system.
Elicit develop and document clear actionable user stories and functional requirements.
Write and execute test cases; track and report test results and defects.
Provide production support to end users and help troubleshoot reported issues.
Enter administrative data on behalf of users to maintain accurate system records.
Collaborate with existing team members to support legacy systems within the Division.
Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Experience supporting grants contract or case management systems
Familiarity with legacy public sector or human services systems
Experience in a production support/helpdesk or Tier 2 support capacity

Experience gathering business requirements from internal and external stakeholders 5+ years Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint 5+ years Experience creating, managing, and tracing business and IT requirements 5+ years Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions, lead discussions, and drive teams toward defined goals 5+ years Experience working in a PMO or managing multiple simultaneous projects 5+ years Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and information and present findings clearly 5+ years Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and effectively multi-task 5+ years Experience generating project reports (status updates, dashboards, budgets, etc. 3+ years Experience working on Agile project teams 3+ years Self-starter with an inquisitive nature and a problem-solving mindset 5+ years Experience working with Medicaid IT and/or Healthcare systems 3+ years PMP or other project management certification Additional Information Work Location: Hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 days remote) parking NOT provided.
