Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing Home in Co Meath Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Upkeep of administrative processes when the administrator is not present.
- Keeping an eye on administrative processes.
- Awareness of the residents revenue from fees funding sources outstanding fees personal stipend and financial documentation.
- Overseeing the budget of the Community Unit.
- Recognise the legal requirements for the financial affairs of individuals with mental impairments
- Hold frequent communication meetings with every member of the clinical staff.
- Build strong relationships with outside community organizations to invite the neighbourhood into the home and make it easier for the residents to participate in events and activities there.
- Communicate with Marketing to make the most of chances and guarantee that the Home is wellknown in the neighbourhood.
- Keep an eye on all complaints and make sure they are all documented with the investigations findings.
Requirements
- Qualified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six years.
- A postregistration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.
- Three years or more of management experience in the health and social care sector.
- Registered in the relevant NMBI live registration section.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent Leadership Organisational and Communication skills.
