Job Description
Take on an exciting role as a Solar Energy Appointment Setter where you ll be the crucial first point of contact between potential customers and our client s expert solar solutions team. In this position you ll combine educational outreach with consultative selling helping Australian homeowners understand the benefits of solar energy while qualifying opportunities and setting appointments for field sales representatives. This role offers the perfect blend of structured outreach and relationship building with the opportunity to earn attractive commissions while contributing to Australia s renewable energy future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional outbound calls to prospective customers from an established database
- Deliver engaging educational presentations about solar energy benefits and solutions
- Qualify prospects through strategic questioning and needs analysis
- Schedule qualified appointments for field sales representatives
- Build and maintain a consistent daily calling rhythm to achieve booking targets
- Document all prospect interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM
- Follow up with prospects to confirm and maintain scheduled appointments
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
- Achieve monthly appointment setting targets while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide feedback on lead quality and market responses to help optimize campaigns
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven appointment setting or telesales experience
- Strong phone presence with excellent English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Experience with CRM systems and modern calling platforms
- Professional home office setup with reliable highspeed internet
- Selfmotivated with strong time management skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
