Job Description
Interior Designer creates functional safe and aesthetically pleasing spaces by planning layouts selecting materials and furnishings and coordinating with contractors and clients ensuring designs meet specific needs and adhere to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Planning:
Conceptualize and create design plans for various spaces considering functionality aesthetics and client needs.
Space Planning:
Develop layouts considering space utilization traffic flow and functionality.
Material Selection:
Choose appropriate materials colors textures furniture lighting and accessories considering style budget and durability.
Technical Drawings:
Produce detailed drawings 3D renderings and specifications for construction and implementation.
Project Management:
Oversee project progress manage timelines purchase orders and deliveries ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Client Communication:
Communicate design ideas address client concerns and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
Coordination:
Liaise with contractors engineers and other specialists to ensure smooth project .
Budgeting:
Develop and manage project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and staying within client constraints.
Adherence to Regulations:
Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
Problem Solving:
Address design challenges and find creative solutions.
