Responsibilities Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs. Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering documenting and analyzing business needs and requirements. Prepares and advises on business analysis policies processes best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization. General Skills Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess clients business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined. Applies reengineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies Develops strategies prepares business cases and costbenefit analysis and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives Develops sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions interviews mockups etc. Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and nonfunctional requirements definitions for assigned projects Monitors progress resolves problems and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation and conducts followup Experience developing strategies preparing business cases and costbenefit analysis Experience conducting requirements gathering developing documentation including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to document conceptual requirements and scope Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines Desirable Skills Experience in the use of information retrieval packages Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions Experience with a wide range of methods tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling business event modelling business process mapping Experience in structured object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent followup Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standardsSkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements
Business Analysis & IT Knowledge 30
Demonstrates expertise in IT systems and services including methodologies to measure business value and maturity.
Establishes effective traceability between business and IT Key Performance Indicators.
Possesses enterpriselevel modelling expertise and familiarity with tools processes and methodologies for comprehensive business analysis.
Understands enterprise architecture particularly in business and information architecture and emerging technologies in areas like digital credentials and digital gateway strategy.
Displays proficiency in software development life cycle and design principles for user interfaces and experiences.
Experience with agile engineering methods and a broad range of internet technologies such as common internet protocols web analytics semantic markup RESTful API database concepts and other foundational web topologies that underpin modern digital applications
Agile project management 30
Experience setting up the agile environment your teams needs to build and iterate on a usercentred service
Experience leading and coordinating the team including daily standups sprints planning and backlog grooming
Experience with user centred design practices and processes
Experience flagging and removing obstacles or blockers to progress
Experience with an iterative approach to product development and testing
Experience communicating timelines and progress to audiences with different levels of experience with agile practices
Demonstrates expertise in service delivery and change management.
Manages quality assurance risk management disaster recovery and business continuity effectively.
Communication Collaboration and facilitation 30
Experience with planning and facilitating product and extended teams work through collaborative and interactive work sessions
Experience managing the agile process for a multidisciplinary teams that include a product manager software developers user researchers designers dev/ops content creators and other subject matter experts
Experience helping your product teams become better at autonomously organizing their own work
Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience navigating complex issues and stakeholders.
Excels in client relationship management and experience building strong relationships across organizations
Experience creating and presenting information for different audiences
Has strong verbal and written communications skills. Uses various techniques approaches and persuasion to get client buy in and alignment
Comfortable with inperson and remote/online interactive sessions with team members.
Subject Matter Experience with Verifiable Credentials 10
Experience and knowledge with verifiable credentials and SSI model implementations
Understands key roles of issuer verifier and holder and their interactions within the SSI model
Understands the major technology components and their considerations in support of an SSI model implementation.
