About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Islington requires a passionate MFL Teacher (French) to join their modern foreign languages department from April. The role involves teaching French across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5 fostering a love of languages and developing students intercultural understanding. We are looking for a skilled MFL Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging French lessons across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students language skills and intercultural understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum.
- Organise and lead languagerelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French.
- Proven experience in teaching French at secondary level including ALevel if applicable.
- Strong language skills and a passion for language education.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
