Job Description

Engaging service delicious cuisine and distinctive surroundings make every special event at the Fairmont Banff Springs a truly memorable affair. Showcase your service and organization strengths as Event Set Up Attendant where your attention to detail safety and quality will help set the stage for a successful group function.

Starting Rate: $20.05 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.96.

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Event Set Up Supervisor responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide professional engaging and friendly service.
  • Set up maintain and break down banquet rooms according to event orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms hallways and service areas.
  • Safely handle and store tables chairs and staging; report any needed repairs.
  • Follow all policies procedures and safety standards; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous guest service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Reliable responsible and able to work well under pressure.
  • Teamoriented with a focus on guest needs maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Physically capable of constant standing walking and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs).

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization
