Job Description
Experienced Head of Controls sought to lead a team of controls professionals within a large defence organisation. The Head of Controls must be capable of driving the controls discipline forward within the business whilst maintaining delivery standards across a broad range of controls functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement PMO frameworks governance and best practices
Oversee portfolio and program management ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Lead project controls risk management and reporting functions
Support resource planning budgeting and stakeholder engagement
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in project delivery
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior PMO leadership role
Strong understanding of project governance risk and controls
Experience with project management tools (P6 Primavera MS Project etc.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Relevant qualifications (APM PMP MSP or equivalent)
Qualifications :
Experience leading teams of multidisciplined controls professionals. Demonstrable experience of improving Controls delivery. SC security cleared or clearable.
