Job Description

We are a leading provider of highly engineered materials and related services serving global customers across diverse industries including Consumer Electronics Automotive and Appliances. We are seeking a Technical/Application Engineering Manager to join our growing team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with customers providing technical expertise and solutions that drive product innovation and performance improvements. We offer a competitive compensation package 401K and comprehensive medical benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend optimized materials to customers demonstrating how improvements can enhance performance and reduce costs.

  • Engage with current and prospective clients to understand their needs and objectives providing technical guidance and product demonstrations.

  • Independently manage and develop your territory ensuring effective customer support and business growth.

  • Act as the customer advocate collaborating with engineers and R&D teams to incorporate client feedback into product development.

  • Partner with internal technical teams to identify and implement tailored material solutions.

  • Work remotely from a home office with travel as needed to meet customers and support business initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering from a recognized institution.

  • 5 years of experience supporting Tier 1 customers in a technical support or field application role.

  • Located in the Bay Area.

  • Strong technical expertise in advanced materials and engineered solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
