Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for schoolaged children.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each childs unique needs.
- Provide oneonone and group therapy sessions utilizing evidencebased practices.
- Work closely with teachers parents and other professionals to support each childs communication goals.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for children with speech and language disorders within the school community.
- Regularly evaluate and document students progress adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Professional Educator License with Speech Therapy Certification.
- Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois state license as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist (or eligibility for license).
- Prior experience working with schoolaged children and formulating IEPs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
