Job Description

Our Company is seeking a compassionate and driven Special Education Instructor with LBS1 certification to join a dynamic educational team for theschool year. In this full-time role you ll empower young learners with exceptional needs helping them reach academic and developmental milestones in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This role requires a collaborative professional who can partner with parents caregivers and staff to create comprehensive educational approaches that meet each students distinct challenges. The LBS1 Specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique learning needs of students.

Additional Details:

Advocate for the needs of exceptional students.
Accommodate students diverse learning styles abilities and needs.
Provide an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students overall growth and development.
Implement behavioral interventions as needed to promote positive behavior and social-emotional development.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
Have an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement.
A bachelors degree from an accredited university is required. A masters degree is a plus!
