Summary:
We are looking for a Drafter to create and manage technical drawings in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate for this role should have expertise in handling revisions resolving design queries and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements. This role is critical for maintaining accuracy in documentation supporting project and facilitating clear communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings adhering to specified company and industry standards for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage design variations revisions and updates to reflect project changes and client feedback.
- Issue and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve design or specification ambiguities.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to update architectural and shop drawings as required.
- Source or coordinate with suppliers to ensure hardware specifications align with design documentation.
- Ensure drawings strictly reflect contractual items and specifications to avoid scope discrepancies.
- Maintain and update the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to document changes and substitutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in drafting with a focus on technical drawings and project documentation while adhering to AU standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Inventor) and familiarity with drafting standards.
- Strong understanding of technical data sheets and contract specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing revisions and compliance documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
- Problemsolving skills to address design challenges and ensure project alignment.

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM5:00 PM (AEST) 6:30 AM 3:30 PM (PH Time)
