Job Description
Job Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Jacksonville Beach FL
Annual Salary: $100000 $120000 (commensurate with experience)
Role Summary:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading coordinating and ensuring highquality multidisciplinary patient care in a surgical setting. This role oversees nursing practices maintains regulatory compliance directs clinical operations and fosters a safe efficient and therapeutic care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead motivate and manage nursing staff including hiring performance evaluations recognition and disciplinary actions
- Direct daily clinical operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Interpret evaluate and provide guidance on nursing practices to maintain clinical standards
- Plan and organize staffing levels assignments and workloads to optimize efficiency
- Deliver oral and written instructions ensuring compliance and high standards of care
- Support staff development through training feedback and performance appraisals
- Collaborate with surgical and administrative teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
- RN license Required
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Nursing Preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience in a surgical setting or leadership role Required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Active RN License Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
