Job Description
Responsibilities
.
Supervise and provide leadership to lab techs and line auditors
.
Develop direct reports
.
Manage lab and line coverage – willing to work off shifts if needed
.
Work closely with crossfunctional departments to ensure compliance to regulatory customer and company requirements
.
Reviews daily production schedule and adjusts the quality departments schedule to ensure testing and reporting are met
.
Maintain proper lab supply inventory levels
.
Review testing data/investigate out of spec results. Escalate out of spec data.
.
Assist in customer complaint investigations
.
Oversee quality programs and assist with implementation
.
Review and maintain COAs for incoming truck deliveries
.
Assist with continuous improvement projects
.
Assist in hiring and training employees
.
Ensure the Team follows GMPs and GDPs
.
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
.
Knowledge of 5S Practices
.
Proficient in laboratory techniques instrumentation and data analysis
.
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations such as GMP and GLP. (ISO standards are a plus)
.
Must be able to climb stairs sit and stand for long periods and type for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
.
Basic computer skills are a plus
.

The ability to meet productivity goals and standards
.
Excellent customer service skills
.
Overtime/Weekends/Holidays will be required during peak/seasonal volumes

Must be eligible to work in the US

Job Type: Fulltime
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
- Quality control: 5 years (Required)
- QA/QC: 5 years (Required)
- Supervising: 5 years (Required)
