About the Role
As Director of Product Streaming youll be at the centre of Nines flagship streaming services9Now and 9Radioleading a dynamic team to deliver worldclass digital experiences.
Your mission To drive audience growth accelerate the transition from broadcast to streaming and position Nine as a market leader in the evolving media landscape.
The Director of Product Streaming will lead a highperforming Product & Design team setting the strategic direction for all streaming products and ensuring alignment with Nines overarching business objectives.
A core responsibility of this position is to act as a linchpin between programming business technology and marketing stakeholders. By fostering strong crossfunctional relationships the Director will guarantee that the streaming product vision mirrors the broader business strategy. Additionally a key facet of this role involves demonstrating how effective product strategies can drive revenue growth and optimize resource allocation to ensure profitability.
The ideal candidate will be a leader who has a proven track record of driving successful transformations within a team. This could be a digital transformation a people and organisational transformation a strategic change or another type of change.
We already have a team with strong capabilities to execute the work. What we need is a leader who can quickly assess the situation prioritise effectively and lead the team towards new ways of working new products and a winning position in the market.
Key Accountabilities
Product Leadership & Delivery
Define and execute a bold Product Strategy for Streaming driving Nines digital growth.
Lead a multidisciplinary team to create audiencefirst experiences that drive engagement and revenue.
Stay ahead of global streaming trends and product innovations applying best practices.
Partner closely with the Technology Director Streaming to ensure seamless product development and .
Articulate a compelling product vision to stakeholders across all levels from Board to CEO.
People & Cultural Leadership
Foster a highperformance product culture driving clarity confidence and collaboration.
Lead by example demonstrating Nines values in every aspect of leadership.
Inspire develop and empower senior leaders to excel in their roles and grow their careers.
Champion diversity equity and inclusion ensuring a culture where all voices are valued.
Optimize team structures for collaboration efficiency and innovation in a fastmoving environment.
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring
10 years of senior product leadership experience preferably in media or digital platforms.
Proven ability to influence Clevel stakeholders and drive strategic alignment.
A sharp strategic vision with expertise in market dynamics revenue growth and audience engagement.
Strong leadership in organizational design change management and team development.
Expertise in financial and business operations ensuring product success aligns with overall company goals.
Exceptional communication prioritization and skills to lead a highperforming team.
