Summary of responsibilities:
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheons organization and the external supply base. The SQE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information back to internal functions within Raytheon. The SQEs role includes of Supplier Assessments problem resolution meeting facilitation and continuous improvement activities through APQP supplier engagements. In addition the SQE is a key player in the facilitation and management of Supplier risk mitigation problem resolution and development. The SQE represents Raytheon professionally and supports RTX Vision Values Strategy and Goals as our Quality representative in the supply base.

Managing a complex supplier base in variety of fields (Electrical Mechanical energetic etc.
Expanding on APQP knowledge and applied experience
Developing key relationships with value streams our customers and supply base
Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree inScience Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and 5 years experience in Quality Engineering Manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
Experience working with Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools.
Previous experience conducting RCCA an implementing Root Cause Corrective Action processes changes
Previous Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001 AS9100 or AS9145.
Experience with drawing interpretation and hardware inspection techniques
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications we prefer:
Six Sigma Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE CQM/OE CSQE CQA CRE etc..
Proven successes in building and maintaining relationships with multiple suppliers / customers.
Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements build integration test and delivery.
Experience in engineering development project planning and collaborating remotely.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management systems AS9145 Requirements for APQP & PPAP and FAI Standard AS9102.
Strong technical engineer with excellent communication skills that exhibits presence and influence and selfmanaged technical contributor.
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling prioritizing coaching and process .

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
