The Dual Enrollment Adjunct Instructor shall have the primary responsibility of teaching courses and participating in activities directly related to scheduled instruction. This role involves preparing and delivering lectures overseeing laboratories or clinical components where applicable coaching students and assessing student performances. The Dual Enrollment Adjunct Instructor shall also be responsible for developing the curriculum and attending adjunct faculty meetings and orientation sessions.
Essential Functions
- Deliver highquality instruction in accordance with established curricula and university guidelines.
- Develop and update course materials including syllabi lesson plans assignments and assessments.
- Utilize a Learning Management System (LMS) for course administration and communication.
- Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage in faculty meetings training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of a diverse student population.
- Ensure compliance with SACSCOC accreditation standards and university policies.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or deemed appropriate to the accomplishments of the responsibilities and functions of the Human Resources department.
- The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that logically relate to the position.

Qualifications
- A Masters degree in the assigned teaching discipline or a Masters degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of LMS for course administration.
- Ability to engage mentor and support students effectively.
- Capacity to work in a multiethnic/multicultural academic environment.
- Teaching experience at the college or community college level.
- Experience working with dual enrollment students or high school learners in a college setting.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and academic assessment methodologies.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends (if applicable).
