Midweight Interior Designer Permanent London
About the Studio
A dynamic interior design studio based in West London is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Midweight Interior Designer with at least 5 years of experience. The studio is known for creating inspiring and functional spaces for both hospitality and residential clients with a focus on thoughtful design highquality materials and meticulous attention to detail.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process from concept to project completion. Youll work alongside a talented team of designers architects and contractors to transform client visions into beautifully realised spaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present creative design concepts for hospitality and residential projects.
- Conduct client interviews to understand their needs style and budget requirements.
- Research and source FF&E materials and finishes.
- Produce detailed construction documents including space plans elevations and joinery details using design software such as AutoCAD.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to implement the design vision.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any onsite concerns.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for clients.
- Stay uptodate with the latest design trends materials and technologies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in interior design ideally on hospitality and/or residential projects.
- Proven ability to take a project from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of space planning furniture layouts and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Photoshop and InDesign.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional spaces.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations is advantageous.
