Duration: Full Time
Must qualify for a DoD Secret Clearance
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Manager for an elite client located in the Greater Pittsburgh PA Area. The Senior Systems Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing systems engineering and design managing requirements leading programs and providing engineering management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering tasks across complex defense programs.
- Develop and refine technical strategies cost estimates and proposals.
- Guide research and development efforts fostering a culture of technical innovation.
- Supervise specialized teams across disciplines including Systems Engineering Integration & Test Electrical Mechanical and Software Engineering.
- Drive hiring onboarding performance reviews compensation planning and professional growth initiatives.
- Set clear technical direction make key decisions on design architecture and technologies.
- Collaborate with program leaders chief engineers and external partners to analyze allocate and validate system requirements.
- Address risks deliver technical solutions aligned with objectives and achieve program milestones.
- Cultivate and lead a skilled highperforming engineering team.
Qualifications
- Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills
- Successful track record of transitioning designs into production.
- Program Management expertise
- Experience working with the Department of Defense (Preferred)
- Embedded Electronics Experience (Preferred)
- 8 years of Engineering Management Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Software or Systems Engineering Masters degree preferred
