Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a State of Florida Licensed Commercial Building Inspector to join our team. This role involves conducting structural mechanical electrical and plumbing inspections on commercial buildings under construction or renovation ensuring compliance with Florida building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform onsite building inspections at various project stages.
  • Assess structural integrity and code compliance for commercial properties.
  • Accurately document inspection findings daily.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and contractors.
  • Ensure projects align with approved construction plans and specifications.
  • Travel to job sites as required maintaining schedule flexibility.
Required Qualifications:
  • State of Florida Standard Building Inspector License.
  • Valid Florida Drivers License with a clean record.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints plans and specifications.
  • Basic computer proficiency for reporting and email communication.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Florida Electrical Mechanical or Plumbing Inspector License.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices.
