YOUR TASKS
This is a unique opportunity for a driven highly skilled individual who wants to be part of a fastmoving B2B startup from day one. We are looking for experienced software engineers who want to leverage their expertise to shape our digital infrastructure and take Procuros from the prototype stage to the B2Bintegrationlayer of the future. This is a greenfield project meaning that you will have a lot of freedom in designing and working on our core architecture. In doing so you will be working with data structures and protocols that you likely have never heard of but your skills and ambition will let you develop creative and unconventional solutions.
Tasks include:- Conceptualize our system architecture for core features and new product modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Determine the workload and creation of work packages tasks and user stories
- Design development and test features and functions
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members and help them thrive
- Ensure your applications are available and reliable
- Occasionally guide our customers through the integration of the solution you helped to build
YOUR PROFILE
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer
- You possess expert knowledge of PHP and Laravel (Queues Request Middleware Cache Service Containers and Authentication).
- You have knowledge of SQL (MySQL Postgres or MariaDB)
- You are familiar with data structures like XML and JSON
- You have experience working with RESTful APIs
- You know how to carry out Testing (Unit Integration EndtoEnd)
- You have experience with deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- You are fluent in English (fluency in German is a plus but not required)
Bonus points if- You have experience building on cloud infrastructure like (AWS GCP Azure)
- You have knowledge of crafting containerized applications with Docker
- You have experience with SaaS applications
- You have prior knowledge working with Laravel tools/packages such as (Laravel Nova Laravel Horizon and Laravel Scout)
- You have knowledge of EDI formats and protocols (EDIFACT cXML AS2
- You have knowledge of EDI transformations (XSD XSLT etc.

HIRING PROCESS
- Initial Interview: Here we have a verbal nontechnical discussion to see if there is a mutual fit. Well have questions for you about your skills and background well also answer any questions you have for us about the company compensation structure culture and interview process.
- Coding Challenge:You will be asked to solve a coding problem related to our work so you get an idea of what type of problems we are solving in Procuros and we can evaluate your technical skills.
- Deep Dive Interview:In this interview we will be discussing the solution provided by the coding challenge discussing some technical aspects and also answering any questions that you still have.
- Meet the Team:The final step in the interview process includes one or multiple conversations with our founders Patrick & Ben. Also youll be meeting your future colleagues.
