About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Brent requires a dedicated Science Teacher with a Biology specialism for a temporary position starting in April. The role involves delivering engaging biology lessons at KS3 and KS4 and contributing to the wider science department. We are looking for a skilled Science Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging biology lessons at KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of biological concepts and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback. We require a Science Teacher who can perform these tasks.
- Contribute to the delivery of the science curriculum.
- Organise and lead sciencerelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Biology.
- Proven experience in teaching biology at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced Science Teacher for this position.
