Join Frese and be part of their mission to deliver cuttingedge fuelsaving technologies for the global maritime industry! Looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team in Singapore.
On behalf of Frese MARPRO Group is looking for a Service Engineer for the office in Singapore. You will report to the Global Product Manager & Head of Project Engineering Marine and Industri of the company.
The job
As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for managing onsite aspects of Frese FUELSAVE solutions including conducting inspections commissioning systems and troubleshooting. Your role will also involve supporting the plan approval and quotation processes between service jobs. Working closely with the teams in Singapore and Denmark you will play a key part in delivering innovative maritime solutions.
You will conduct preinspections to ensure readiness for installations and guide and supervise installation processes onboard vessels. Commissioning newly installed systems will be a crucial part of your role ensuring they function optimally. You will also carry out yearly service and optimization jobs on existing installations to maintain efficiency.
Additionally you will conduct root cause analysis and provide commissioning reports to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
Professional qualifications
- Degree in Marine Engineer Engineering B.Sc. or a related field.
- Handson experience with marine machinery systems from shipyard or onboard experience.
- Knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems.
- Knowledge of cooling water systems and valve technology.
- Ability to travel 8090 days per year mainly in the Asia region.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and tailor communication to different stakeholders.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
