Job Description

Our organization is committed to connecting dedicated educators with fulfilling careers in schools.

We are currently seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students in a resource room setting. This role involves working with students who have diverse learning emotional physical and developmental needs helping them reach their highest potential.

About the Position:

As a Special Education Teacher you will develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning requirements. You will foster a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic and personal growth. Through continuous assessment you will monitor student progress and refine instructional strategies as needed.

Collaboration is essential in this role you will work closely with general education teachers specialists and families to ensure comprehensive student support. You will also adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles while fostering the development of social and emotional skills.

Requirements

Experience working in an educational setting.
Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution (Master s preferred).
Previous experience in special education or a related role.
Valid Illinois PEL with an LBS1 (Special Education) endorsement (no other certifications accepted).
