Tasks
3Brain is looking for a fulltime Electronics Production Technician to scale up the production of its devices and to improve the automation of the processes involved in the production. Working together with the R&D and Fulfilment Team your responsibility will be to manage and maintain our production processes and to identify potential improvements to support highquality and ensure consistent delivery that meet our quality standards. The main tasks are:
- Manage and execute manufacturing of our products (i.e. endassembly inventory packaging for the shipment of finished products etc.
- Follows production performance indicators
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product manufacturability transition developed products into production and identify process optimizations
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment to meet industry standards for cleanliness and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Monitor inventory levels and contribute to the ordering of materials
- Execute inbound quality testing for components of highend biomedical instrumentation
- Develop new test procedures and contribute to root cause analysis
- Troubleshoot production problems related to equipment processes quality and systems
- Provide statistical data analysis and reporting and escalate to management when issue is encountered
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- An apprenticeship or technical degree (e.g. HF) in electronics/electrics or automation
- Skills and interests in practical work and handson activities (a maker not a theorist)
- Team player with initiative a positive attitude and the ability to work independently
- Strong ability to complete assignments with careful attention to detail accuracy and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal relationship problemsolving troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills in English
- Applicant must have an EU/EFTA or Swiss Citizenship
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with CAD design tools
- Interests in 3Dprinting injection molding and materials
- Interest in programming/scripting and/or HW design flows
- Interest to grow in an engineering environment
