Job Description
This is an opportunity to showcase your warmth enthusiasm and commitment to service excellence to visitors in Queenstown while enjoying one of the best views in town!
- Provide efficient friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and productive.
- Perform the tasks of order taking and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of products. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
- Be familiar & confident with our Food & Beverage offering.
- Provide quality barista service and occasional support behind our bar
- Plan prepare and hand over effectively to next shift
- Replenish all consumables at the end of your shift
- Provide manager with feedback from customers and from staff
- Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfil their duties effectively.
- Deliver orders promptly to the kitchen production area.
- Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
- When working in Room Service promptly answer telephone and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product.
- Ensure room service trays and trolleys are setup correctly and collected promptly when guest(s) have finished.
- Occasional duties supporting Hotel departments as demand requires
Qualifications :
You will harness your luxury attitude with humble excellence a distinguished presence and elevated emotional intelligence. Your pride and passion will be complemented by:
- Previous experience in high end Food & Beverage service
- Strong communication skills
- Positive and cando attitude with a flair for sales
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Knowledge of wines spirits & cocktails would be highly advantageous
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- Morning day and evening shifts as required
