Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Coordinate with various cross functional teams to gather data to evaluate and analyze the utilization of various strategic business initiatives.
Identify and implement process improvements especially by leveraging new technologies such as AI.
Perform contract reviews related for strategic deal initiatives ensuring accurate revenue accounting in compliance with US GAAP.
Prepare revenue accounting memos in compliance with US GAAP.
Contribute to revenue policy definition and improvement with a particular focus on enabling application across crossfunctional teams.
Partner with team members acrossmultiple offices and other partners(FinanceLegal IT and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant USGAAP and SEC developmentsto ensure accurate Revenue Accounting.
Implement controls and evaluate actions requiredfor compliance with ServiceNow revenue recognitionprocess.
Complete required monthend close activities like accounting reconciliations & reporting around revenue close.
Work with a multinational team collaborating to promote efficiency effectiveness and teamwork.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decisionmaking or problemsolving. This may include using AIpowered tools automating workflows analyzing AIdriven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA CA or equivalent certification is preferred.
3 years of experience within accounting for a SAAS based multinational company with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Working knowledge of current literature related toASC 606 is highly recommended.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong organizational skills and detailorientedselfstarter with the ability to workindependently to meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders including FP&A Sales Marketing and Information Systems.
Experience with MS Officesoftware including Excel Word andPowerPoint.
Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI to analyze and visualize financial data.
Experience with SAP is preferred.
