Job Description

Physics Teacher Join an Outstanding Ofsted Rated School in Ealing (KS3/4/5

Role: Physics Teacher

As a Physics Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of Physics. You will support students in developing a wellrounded understanding of physical principles and their applications. Your role will include:

  • Planning preparing and delivering engaging and meaningful Physics lessons to students of various age groups (KS3 KS4 and KS5.
  • Encouraging students to apply scientific concepts and problemsolving skills in various contexts.
  • Supporting students in their academic development providing guidance and assistance when needed.
  • Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Contributing to the development of the Physics curriculum.
  • Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Physics.
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of the Physics syllabus.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Physics department.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

  • A strong passion for Physics and a desire to support students scientific journeys.
  • A recognized teaching qualification in Physics or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Physics to secondaryaged students is highly desirable.
  • A passion for developing young people academically.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a nurturing and progressive team.
