What Youll Be Doing
As a Support Worker youll play a key role in creating a nurturing and familyoriented environment. This role is all about building meaningful relationships and ensuring children feel valued and understood. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Holistic Care & Emotional Support Be a calming presence offering reassurance and guidance to young people in your care.
- Encouraging Growth & Independence Support children in learning essential life skills such as cooking selfcare and managing emotions in a patient and supportive manner.
- Building Strong Bonds Create meaningful trusting relationships with children helping them feel secure and understood.
- Working as a Team Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain a caring and structured environment where children feel safe and supported.
- Attending Important Appointments Accompany children to school runs professional meetings health checkups and family visits to ensure they receive the support they need.
- Organising Fun & Engaging Activities Participate in a variety of experiences such as swimming creative arts softplay outdoor adventures sensory activities and special outings to encourage confidence and social engagement.
