Join castLabs as a Solutions Architect Web Applications and help shape the future of video streaming. We are looking for a versatile engineer with strong development skills and video streaming background who can also interact with clients understand their technical challenges and design scalable solutions. This role focuses on JavaScript (preferably TypeScript and/or react.js) and clientside development for Web either Android or iOs applications.

Your Mission:
- Develop and optimize secure scalable solutions for content playback and protection on webbased and either Android and/or iOS applications.
- Design implement and maintain JavaScriptbased client libraries for secure video streaming.
- Provide handson development for proofofconcept solutions and validate technical strategies.
- Design and build demos for trade shows. Act as a technical advisor guiding customers through the integration of our PrestoPlay Player SDKs and security solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering product management and customer success to ensure seamless implementations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in video streaming DRM and content security technologies.
Your Profile:
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript with handson experience in frontend and backend development.
- Solid understanding of video streaming protocols (e.g. MPEGDASH HLS Smooth Streaming) and content protection solutions (DRM)
- Handson experience with video players such asShaka Dash.js Hls.js ExoPlayer AVPlayer.
- Experience developing either native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/ObjectiveC) applications is a strong plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive handson approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in parallel.
Preferred but not required:
- Familiarity with testdriven development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance optimization in video playback and encoding workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and scalable architecture design is a plus.
- Additional language skills beyond English are a plus.
