Job Description
The Information Technology Implementation Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and integration of information technology systems within the organization. This role involves aligning a team of IT professionals coordinating project timelines associated activity around technology installation and ensuring effective communication between vendors stakeholders and IT operations. The IT Implementation Manager plays a vital role in implementing technology initiatives with business objectives and driving organizational growth.
- Implementation Management:
- Lead and manage the implementation of IT systems including hardware software and network infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans including scope timelines resources and deliverables.
- Align with project managers to ensure timelines are executed according to plan within budget and meet quality standards.
- Team Management:
- Coordinate a team of IT professionals involved in implementation projects.
- Assign tasks provide guidance and support and conduct regular implementation performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business leaders department heads and external vendors to understand implementation requirements and align technology solutions accordingly.
- Communicate implementation progress risks and issues to stakeholders ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of information technology systems including hardware software networking and security.
- Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices related to IT implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team and stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful operational implementation.
- Monitor project milestones identify deviations and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Anticipate and manage change requests evaluating their impact on implementation timelines and resources.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability stability and security of IT systems.
- Conduct thorough testing evaluate system performance and address any issues or deficiencies.
- Maintain documentation and support the knowledge base for implemented systems.
- Training and Support:
- Collaborate with the training team to develop training programs and materials for endusers.
- Ensure comprehensive IT Operations training is conducted to facilitate a smooth transition to new IT systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Qualifications :
- Ability to act as a central point of contact responsible for all implementation related activities for assigned implementations.
- Proven experience 7 years) in IT project management implementation or product management.
- Experience evaluating project and implementation requirements for viability assist with implementation definition and advise on potential impacts to existing systems.
- Ability to participate with project managers and other teams to estimate total project costs and ensure installations remain on target.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to regulate implementation resources while providing implementation leadership to identify available solutions protect project costs resource management and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems infrastructure and related technologies.
- Project management certifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
- Excellent implementation leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment managing multiple implementations simultaneously.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
