Job Description
Responsibilities:
Applied Research: Focus on enhancing energy efficiency reducing CAPEX and advancing membrane technologies.
Simulation & Design: Use advanced tools to optimize RO plants and model performance under various conditions.
Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams across engineering chemistry and material science.
Prototype Development & Scaling: Lead prototype development and scaling from lab to pilot and field applications.
Industry & Academic Engagement: Collaborate with agencies startups and research institutions to set desalination standards and represent the organization in industry forums.
TechnoEconomic Analysis: Evaluate the feasibility and competitiveness of desalination solutions.
Water Chemistry & PreTreatment: Ensure effective system design by applying expertise in water chemistry and pretreatment processes.
Mentorship: Guide and develop junior researchers fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 10 years in the desalination industry.
Skills: Strong communication leadership analytical and research skills; expertise in desalination system design and operation.
Publications: At least 5 publications in highimpact journals; patents or book chapters are a plus.
Nice to Have: Programming process monitoring and team management skills; exposure to lean sixsigma fastworks or TRIZ methodologies.
