Position Summary
The position is for 9months. There is also the possibility of summer teaching opportunities. The faculty member will teach online graduate courses using both synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods. The faculty member will collaborate on supporting the PK12 school and district leadership programs by engaging in activities such as monitoring field experiences scheduling classes and discussing program evaluation and reporting. The program faculty member would be expected to maintain a campus presence of a minimum of 10 hours per week. Program faculty members advise students conduct research and publish findings engage with the Pk12 school/district leadership research and education community provide university and professional service support students field experiences and be a strong advocate for the program. All program faculty members engage as a collaborative leadership team to help maintain and extend program and department visibility as well as assist with program coordination activities. All faculty members engage in ongoing program improvement efforts based on data the shifting needs of the students and requirements for preparing students to be school/district leaders. The program is state accredited and the institution is nationally accredited. The overall goal of the program is to prepare school/district leaders to work in Pk12 schools/districts and to obtain a school/district leadership license in Arkansas. The best candidate will be able to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
