We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ERP Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues resolving user problems and ensuring the smooth operation of the ERP system. This role requires strong technical skills excellent communication abilities and a customerfocused approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide firstlevel technical support to endusers for ERP systemrelated issues via phone email and inperson.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system errors performance issues and configuration problems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to ERP modules such as Finance Supply Chain Manufacturing and CRM.
- Document all support interactions in the ticketing system accurately and efficiently.
- Escalate complex issues to senior ERP technical staff or vendors as needed.
- Assist with the installation configuration and maintenance of the ERP system.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
- Conduct enduser training sessions on ERP system functionality.
- Monitor ERP system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve integration issues and implement system enhancements.
- Assist with data migration and data cleansing activities.
- Participate in testing and validation of ERP system upgrades and patches.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including security protocols.
- Stay uptodate on ERP system updates best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 13 years of experience in ERP technical support or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics Odoo). Specify the ERP system used by your company here!
- Experience troubleshooting ERP system issues and resolving user problems.
- Familiarity with database concepts SQL and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with report writing tools (e.g. Crystal Reports SSRS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework is a plus.
