Job Description
Based in Jerusalem you will be part of our Urban Railway / LRT projects in Jerusalem and our other future transportation projects in Israel. You will work with contractual and technical documents extracting and manipulating textual requirements in collaboration with technical experts. You will manage large sets of requirements for our Blue Line LRT project. You will assist in designing and implementing systematic management procedures for selecting analysing organising developing and demonstrating compliance with requirements.
You will liaise frequently and in depth with specialist engineers in track electrification signalling civil engineering electrical plant and systems integration.
To this end you may expect to:
- Review project contract and documentation in order to methodically identify analyse organise and develop requirements for and with project teams
- Organise and record evidence showing how projects have met and complied with requirements in order to reduce of potential risks and overall project costs
- Set up databases and processes for managing requirements and demonstrating compliance.
- Report the progress of the Requirement fullness to the State through a project KPI.
- Support and coordinate Requirement Working Group meeting with the State and the project company.
- Support the State to ensure the consistency and completeness of the Design Specification with a reference to user requirements and final environment of application.
- Be a Referent leader supporting and providing guidance to the State with the Requirement SW tool.
- Review the configuration management plan of the project company.
- Establish the codification scheme and general principles for the project in coordination with the State for every discipline.
- Review the current Configuration item data list (CIDL) of the subsystem.
- Support and coordinate the Configuration working group meeting with the State and the project Company.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this position as Requirements Expert we have the following requirements:
- An Engineering degree.
- Competent in requirement engineering for rail projects.
- At least 10 years experience in rail / requirements / configuration management.
- Experienced in requirements management software i.e. Helix DOORS or other.
- Understands the overall role of the system and the environment of application.
- Understands analytical techniques and outcomes.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of the requirement of the St 50126.
- Competent in Configuration management
- Able to communicate with specialists and confirm understanding of technical issues.
- Able to write in clear precise English and determine the meaning of complex written statements.
- Able to methodically process and organize technical information from diverse documents.
