Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for global product management of Ion our innovative robotic technology for lung access. This role is pivotal in driving Ions entry and scale in key global markets.
As the Product Manager you will:
- Execute highimpact projects to enhance the capabilities of future Ion platforms.
- Collaborate closely with global customers and regional teams to capture the voice of the customer.
- Ensure an optimal customer experience with new and existing products through effective collaboration.
Working across multiple product franchises and geographies you will partner with crossfunctional stakeholders in Product Operations and regional Commercial functions. Your unique role involves crafting a cohesive and compelling value proposition that spans multiple products and lifecycle stagesfrom launch to endoflife.
Essential Job Duties
1. Downstream Global Product Management
- SIOP Process Leadership: Drive product management in the global Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Collaborate with regional teams manufacturing and operations to forecast SKUs and allocate products during launch ramps or supply constraints.
- Quality Issue Management: Monitor and prioritize global product quality issues with regional teams and customers. Work crossfunctionally to resolve product and critical customer issues optimizing the customer experience with Intuitive and Ion products services and solutions.
- Market Expansion Leadership: Head geographic market expansion projects through regulatory clearance and commercialization processes. Develop gotomarket plans in partnership with corporate and regional Marketing Regulatory and Commercial teams to ensure successful market entry of the Ion platform and its product portfolio.
2. Business Analysis
- Forecasting & Financial Analysis: Conduct regional opportunity and product forecasting in collaboration with the finance team.
- Product Improvement Opportunities: Identify opportunities for product enhancements by analyzing return data and complaint information.
- Voice of Customer Integration: Incorporate customer feedback and field intelligence into product roadmap development.
3. Product Rollout & Launch
- Global Representation & Advocacy: Represent regional teams and customers to propose global product feature updates and nextgeneration products aligned with customer needs and company goals.
- Identify and articulate unmet customer needs.
- Evaluate prototype product solutions.
- Assess critical business requirements and potential product impact.
- Increase awareness of underutilized inmarket products and services.
- Collaboration & Positioning: Work with regional teams to refine product positioning and establish claims messaging and pricing strategies.
- Rollout : Ensure smooth of product rollout processes within key regions.
- Performance Measurement: Monitor product adoption globally and regionally gathering postlaunch feedback.
- Partnership Development: Collaborate with inregion counterparts to develop and implement specific product launch and lifecycle activities.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience including at least 2 years in medical device product management product marketing or product sales.
- Proven relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work across diverse organizational areas to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior management and customers.
- Selfstarter with demonstrated leadership abilities in fastpaced environments.
- Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Agility to pivot focus to meet evolving customer needs and shifting market dynamics.
- Experience adapting communication styles to accommodate cultural nuances across various management levels; multicultural understanding and empathy are essential.
Required Education & Training
- Minimum Bachelors degree preferably in science engineering or business.
- Experience with product launches.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Tableau and Salesforce.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work in surgical labs and hospital patient care areas.
- Willingness to travel 25 including international travel.
- Position is based at Intuitive Headquarters in Sunnyvale California.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Masters degree in life sciences engineering or business discipline.
- Experience with international product launches including the ability to communicate clearly and drive across multiple cultures.
- Handson data analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to develop market and product insights and inform decisionmaking.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: medical software capital equipment flexible catheters robotics.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience skills and qualifications.
