Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum events including sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Coach the development team product owner and organisation on Agile and Scrum practices
- Remove impediments and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Assist in backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure the teams work is clearly defined and prioritised
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain and groom the product backlog
- Track and communicate team progress including burndown charts and velocity metrics
- Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders
- Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions during sprints
- Encourage and support the teams selforganisation and crossfunctionality
- Assist in conflict resolution within the team and with external stakeholders
- Support the integration of Scrum with other Agile methodologies as needed
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to share best practices and improve organisational Agile adoption
- Continuously assess and improve the teams use of Scrum through regular retrospectives
- Assist in release planning and coordination with other teams or departments
- Promote a culture of transparency inspection and adaptation within the team and organisation
