ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide engineering support for all manufacturing activities particularly in tooling and fixture design maintenance and enhancement
- Develop concept designs for automation systems including component handling and workstation layouts
- Design tooling jigs and fixtures for product qualification prototype testing and production systems
- Conduct tolerance studies GD&T analysis and simulations to ensure design accuracy
- Create 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or similar tools
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Manage engineering projects from concept to implementation ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource plans
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth project
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of automation components and equipment
- Prepare and present technical reports project updates and design reviews to stakeholders
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & PROBLEMSOLVING:
- Analyze and troubleshoot HSA tooling fixtures and equipment to perform corrective actions and meet customer requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies on new product transfers tooling modifications and process enhancements
- Optimize workstation layout and process flow to improve efficiency and space utilization
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and systematic problemsolving techniques to enhance automation performance
TRAINING & TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
- Act as the technical resource for new product transfers and tooling/fixture changes
- Provide engineering support on technical training to upskill the technical crew
- Train team members on the correct application of GD&T tooling design concepts and process optimization
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline is required. The expected start date for this position is in July 2025
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or experienced no more than 1 year
SKILLS:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for tooling and fixture design
- Strong knowledge in technical analytical and mechanical analysis
- Experience with GD&T simulation and tolerance study
- Project management experience including scheduling budgeting and risk management
- Computer literate with the ability to analyze and track engineering data
PREFERRED:
- Project Management (PMP Six Sigma or equivalent certification is a plus)
- SolidWorks Advanced Training
- Concepts of ISOand OHSAS 18001
- Process flow DOE (Design of Experiments) and system problem solving
- ESD/Contamination Control Knowledge
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with automation systems robotic handling or pickandplace mechanisms
- Familiarity with industrial standards for safety and manufacturing automation
